About Jaron
From an early age, Jaron was captivated by the classic animated worlds of Tom and Jerry and Teen Titans and the impactful and energetic visuals of video games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Skullgirls. He describes his art as bold, colorful, and entertaining – seeking to evoke the youthful energy that appeals to audiences from 10 years old to 110. He desires to create characters and stories that will create lasting memories – just like those that his inspirations left in him. With artistic influences like Studio Trigger, Glen Keane, and Naoto Ohshima, Jaron works under the pseudonym “Slacktopus.” He looks forward to using his art to foster positivity and adventure and even tackle serious topics that will inspire others to do good in the world.
